Freddy Ma is a Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher at the Panasonic Cyber Security Lab. With over seven years of experience in the cybersecurity field, he specializes in IoT security and malware analysis. Prior to joining Panasonic, Freddy was a key member of Gorilla Technology, where he designed and developed automated honeypots, sandboxes, and threat intelligence systems. He has extensive hands-on experience in Incident Response (IR) for government agencies, with a focus on tracking Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). Since 2022, his research has centered on IoT security, leading teams in leveraging AI technology to analyze IoT malware and device vulnerabilities to build a more secure ecosystem for connected products.
