Dr. Yao-Tung Tsou is dedicated to advancing privacy-enhancing technologies, cryptographic systems, and AI security models in both academic research and industry applications. He holds multiple patents in information security and has published extensively in top-tier journals and conferences in the field.
Dr. Tsou is the President, CTO, and Co-founder of DeCloak Intelligences, established in 2020. He has played a key role in translating technical innovation into business success, founding Taiwan’s first AI service company focused on privacy and security applications. In 2020, he introduced the world’s first-generation privacy processing chip, which gained international media attention and was praised as a "rising star in privacy technology." In 2023, he launched the world’s first commercial-grade privacy-secure AI video processing system, earning the CES Innovation Awards for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024) in both Cybersecurity & Personal Privacy and Artificial Intelligence categories.
In 2025, he introduced the AI Privacy Agent (AipA) platform, which has been successfully applied in smart healthcare and robotics, and won the Best Choice Golden Award at Computex 2025. In 2026, he again received the CES Innovation Award in the Cybersecurity category.
Dr. Tsou holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. From 2015 to 2021, he served as Assistant and Associate Professor at Feng Chia University, leading numerous industrial and government research projects. He was also a cybersecurity advisor to Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, assisting SMEs in establishing and maintaining cybersecurity frameworks, and actively promoting Taiwan’s digital transformation and industrial cybersecurity environment.
