CYBERSEC 2021 COVID-19 Event Protocols

CYBERSEC 2021 will comply with Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC)'s latest update and modify our event protocols accordingly, which will also be updated on our official website. CYBERSEC 2021 encourages everyone to follow these protocols, wash hands regularly, maintain respiratory hygiene, keep a safe distance and other good personal hygiene habits. We look forward to seeing you at the event and thank you for your cooperation.

Attendee Guidelines:

  1. The event implements real-name registration and requires attendees to register and fill out all the required information truthfully.

  2. Please do not lend your attended badge to someone else to avoid confusion about your real-name registration information.

  3. Please cooperate as our staff takes your temperature. Anyone with a temperature of 37.5℃ or above will be denied entry.

  4. Please wear your mask when entering the venue and the conference room(s). No mask, no entry.

  5. Anyone who has travelled abroad within 21 days before the event will not be allowed entry.

  6. Anyone who has come into contact with those who have recently travelled to/from another country must have complied with CDC's quarantine requirements before being granted entry to the event.

  7. Please maintain a safe distance and sanitize/wash your hands regularly.

The following measures will be implemented prior to and during the event:

  1. Prior to the event:

    • Diverse promotion channels: The event will utilize its official website, text messages, newsletters, social media and other channels to promote COVID-19 event protocols and health education to the participating vendors, event staff and attendees.

    • Guidance on the facilities and promotional material: Temperature checks, hand sanitizer and health promotion (reminder to wear masks) will be at the main entrances of the event. The event's promotional literature (event map, guides, etc.) will label the routes to the exists clearly as well as the locations of the information desks and medical rooms to assist the participating vendors, staff members and the attendees.

    • Emergency response measures and staff training: The organizer has established an epidemic prevention team and standard operating procedures. The organizer has also arranged training regarding emergency responses to ensure that all staff is fully aware of the epidemic prevention measures and standard operating procedures.

    • Venue sanitation: The entire area of the event will be cleaned and sanitized comprehensively the day before the event.

  2. During the event:

    • Staff epidemic prevention: All event staff members, participating vendors and contractors will have their temperatures checked every day before the venue opens. They are required to sanitize their hands regularly and wear their masks at all times.

    • Temperature checks and entry restrictions: Infrared thermal imaging cameras or infrared thermometers will be deployed at the main entrances to monitor body temperatures. Anyone with a temperature of 37.5℃ or above will be denied entry to the venue, relocated to the isolated room and encouraged to go see the doctor.

    • Encourage hand washing: All main entrances/exits, hallways and conference rooms will have hand sanitizer available and bathrooms will have hand soap or soap to help everyone keep their hands clean.

    • Real-name registration: All personnel's names and contact information will be collected before the event, including the event staff, participating vendors, contractors and attendees.

    • Venue sanitation: During the event, areas with higher contact frequency (elevators, handrails, bathrooms, information desks, conference rooms, etc.) will be sanitized and cleaned more frequently. The air conditioning system will exchange air 3 times a day to improve the air circulation. At the end of the event each day, the venue will be comprehensively cleaned and sanitized.

    • At least one medical worker will be standing by during the event.
